SELECTED UPDATES
September 20 , 2011:The final colloquium of SPP Organic Computing has been completed successfully at Nürnberg. All projects have presented their research results at the colloquium. The presentations are available on the colloquium's web page.

June 18 , 2011:The OC Compendium,Organic Computing - A Paradigm Shift for Complex Systems, Müller-Schloer, Christian; Schmeck, Hartmut; Ungerer, Theo (Eds.), (1st Edition, 2011, 627 p, ISBN 978-3-0348-0129-4) has been published by Springer Press.


April 1 , 2011:The 12th OC colloquium, and yet the last in its series, of the SPP 1183 Organic Computing is scheduled during September 15/16, 2011 at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.

April 1 , 2011:The 8th International Conference on Autonomic Computing (ICAC 2011) will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany on June 14-18, 2011. Prof. Dr. Hartmut Schmeck serves as the general chair for the ICAC conference this year. Further information about the conference (such as program, venue, registration) is available on the conference website.

March 23 , 2011:The joint workshop of DFG SPP 1183 Organic Computing and DFG SFB 614 "Self-optimizing concepts and structures in mechanical engineering" takes place on March 23/24, 2011 in Paderborn.

July 20, 2010:11th colloquium of the SPP 1183 "Organic Computing" is scheduled during October 7-8, 2010 in Munich, organised in cooperation with Siemens Corporate Technology.
